So, we're in news for great reasons!

Washington State Lottery is shooting their next big commercial and we are in it! Dave Drummond, Location Manager and scout for a TV commercial for Washington State Lottery picked 'Pondicherri', our 20 year old retail shop at 119 E. Washington St, to center the commercial. (Wow!)
“We needed quaint and cute in general and an attractive street,” Drummond said. “Pondicherri was just the spot that was attractive … and not a national chain. I just walked in chatted it up and they were all for it.”
Pondicherri was chosen for its beautiful storefront and display window, Drummond said, and Ta ma'ra J Elliott was elated to hear the news .
“We’re so excited,” Elliott said. “I think it’s great for the community. We’re getting a lot (as a city) for a little inconvenience. This is all good.”
Always known for their quirky commercials, this time it’s about how folks pick their “lucky” numbers. According to the Peninsula Daily News, the shoot will involve birds on a wire and what they are known to drop on cars -- a fun new way to pick your lottery numbers. The second commercial will involve a man dressed in Velcro and a trampoline to pick your numbers.
Great excitement for ‘Pondicherri’ on such recognition!
